Contract Description:
This contract further defines the role of a fine scale research approach (Hancock Springs) to evaluate freshwater conditions limiting ESA listed fish species.  This approach allows for a high-resolution evaluation of limiting factors, while still allowing outcomes that could be applied to a larger management context. This year's SOW allows (through fine scale sampling) for further detection of specific mechanisms of treatment effects (nutrient augmentation).
Pending further review by the NWPCC, YN, and ISRP, this project will operate under the current 5-month extension, during which time only critical operational tasks will be completed, as the project undergoes substantial overhaul and a potential redesign.
